CURRENT PROGRESS

Cities and counties play an important role in the supply and affordability of housing. Under California law, every city and county must adopt a Housing Element as part of its General Plan that shows how the community will meet its current and projected housing needs at all income levels. This page shows the progress—through plans, projects, and policies— each jurisdiction is making toward these requirements.
